License and updates
Runs every version released while your updates are active. Forever.
| License | Use | Updates |
|---|---|---|
| Believer | Perpetual | For life |
| Standard | Perpetual | One year from purchase |
| Renewal | Extends an existing license | One more year |
| Reactivation | For a lapsed license | Back to the latest version, plus one year |
The build-date rule
Any version released on or before the day your updates end runs on your Mac forever, even after that day. A newer version will offer you a renewal instead of installing.
Devices
One license activates on 1 Mac. Activation happens once, online. After that the license is checked on your Mac, offline.
